Review & Sort Applications
Work your candidates on a drag-and-drop pipeline: sort, filter, grade and move applicants from first look to hire.
Open your applications
Applications Overview → a job's pipeline
Open Applications from the sidebar to reach Applications Overview: one card per job, each showing how many candidates are total, new and rejected. Click Review Applicants (or View Pipeline) on a job to open its hiring pipeline.
Read the pipeline board
The pipeline is a drag-and-drop board. Each column is a stage you define for the job: add, rename and reorder stages to match how your team hires. Every candidate is a card you can drag from one stage to the next.
A candidate card shows the essentials at a glance:
- Name & source: a badge shows whether they applied as a Registered user, a Guest, or were Added manually.
- AI Score: WizzHire's match estimate as a percentage, so you can spot strong fits fast.
- Experience & salary expectation: years of experience and the pay range the candidate entered, when provided.
- Requirements & grade: a progress bar of completed versus total requirements, plus your team's average star grade.
Sort candidates
Use the Sort dropdown above the board to order candidates within their stages. You can sort by:
- Default (position): the manual order, so your own arrangement is preserved.
- Salary: Low → High or High → Low: by the salary expectation each candidate entered.
- AI rating: High → Low or Low → High: by WizzHire's match score, to surface the strongest fits first.
Filter and search
Narrow a busy pipeline with the controls above the board:
- Search candidates: type a name to jump straight to a person.
- Stages: show or hide individual pipeline columns to focus on the stages that matter right now.
- Assignee: filter to Assigned to Me, Unassigned, or All Assignees.
- Filter: combine detailed criteria: salary expectation, years of experience, AI score, team grade, country, favorites only, and whether all requirements are complete.
Move, grade and act
Open a candidate, or use the card's quick actions, to move them forward and record what your team thinks:
- Move stage: drag the card to another column, or use Move to…. If requirements are still open, WizzHire asks you to confirm with Move Anyway.
- Grade the candidate: open a candidate and give a 1 to 5 star rating under Team Ratings. Everyone on the team can rate, and their average shows on the candidate's card along with how many people rated.
- Message, view CV, favorite or assign: message the candidate, open View CV / Resume, star a favorite, or assign a teammate to own the review.
- Reject with a reason: record a standard rejection reason, optionally send a rejection email, and keep private internal notes.
Discuss a candidate with your team
Open a candidate and go to the Evaluations tab. Under Team Discussion your team leaves comments on that candidate, replies to each other, and keeps the reasoning next to the person it is about instead of in a chat thread nobody can find two weeks later.
Write in the box at the top and press Post. A comment takes up to 2000 characters and a counter appears as you type. Use Reply to answer a specific comment rather than starting a new one, and Edit or Delete on your own comments. An edited comment is marked (edited), so nothing quietly changes underneath the team.
Assign a candidate and track what is yours
A candidate can be assigned to a teammate, so it is clear who owns the review. An assignment carries a priority of Urgent, High or Normal, which starts at Normal, and a due date if you want one.
Whoever the candidate is assigned to finds them under My Tasks in the sidebar. That page collects every application assigned to you across every job, so a recruiter working five roles has one queue to check instead of five boards.
- Filter: narrow the queue by job and by priority.
- Sort: by priority, due date or applied date.
- At a glance: cards call out Overdue by a given time, Due Today, and Has incomplete requirements, so the queue tells you where to start.
Dig into the details
Opening a candidate reveals tabs for Overview, Profile and Evaluations, with their AI Match, cover letter, Questionnaire Responses, documents to preview or download, offers, messages and a full application timeline. Everything you need to make the call lives on one screen.
