Create your account & pick a role

To begin, press Create profile to sign up as a candidate, or Start hiring to sign up as a company. Both buttons open the signup. All five steps happen on that one page, so move between them with the Go back link, not the browser back button.

The steps run in this order: Account Type, your email address, the verification code, your details, and your password.

The first screen asks What are you looking for? and shows two cards. Click the one that matches you, then continue.

• Find a Job: "I am a candidate looking for new career opportunities." Choose this to search jobs and apply.
• Hire Talent: "I represent a company or I'm a recruiter looking to hire." Choose this to post jobs and hire.

Fill in Email Address, complete the CAPTCHA below the field, then click Create your account. WizzHire sends a verification code to that address.

If the address already belongs to an account you get This email is already registered. Sign in instead, or start again with a different address.

After you enter your email, we send you a 6-digit code. Type it into the boxes, and the moment you enter the last digit it is checked and you move on to the next step automatically.

• The code expires in 10 minutes: after that it stops working and you have to request a new one.
• 3 wrong attempts kill it: enter the wrong code three times and that code is invalid. Send a new one and try again.
• Resend Code: the link unlocks after a 60 second countdown, and every further resend makes you wait longer: 60 seconds, then 2 minutes, 5 minutes, 10 minutes and 30 minutes.
• Go back: this clears the session and returns you to the email step, so you start the registration again.

Step 4 asks who you are. Everyone fills in First Name, Last Name, Country and Phone Number.

• Job seekers: also get an optional Address field.
• Companies: fill in Company Name (required) and Website (optional) instead of an address.

Your password

Step 5 asks for a password that satisfies all five rules: at least 8 characters, one special character, one lowercase letter, one uppercase letter and one number. Repeat it in Confirm Password, tick the box to accept the Terms and Conditions, then click Create your account.

Job seekers also see an optional checkbox for email updates and product news. It is separate from the Terms, and leaving it unticked does not block your signup.

Your account is created and you are signed in straight away. Your email is already verified, so there is no second confirmation email to hunt for.

If you signed up to hire, your next two tasks are the company profile and company approval, because a new company cannot publish a job until a WizzHire admin approves it.
